Pikehaven Limited provides and carries out solutions for water ingress problems into and from any masonry structure.
Pre-Applied Systems
These are installed during the construction phase and are applied
between the structure and the ground in below dpc level situations.
They comprise of heavy duty sheet membranes or self adhesive membranes for waterproofing which can incorporate radon and methane barriers.
Remedial Solutions
- Joints (cracks, day or construction joints, movement joints)
- Internal tanking systems
- Active leak sealing (accelerated additives or mortars) to porous or honeycombed areas, joints or holes.
- Pipes or protrusions through the structure to combat both positive and negative water pressure.
The methods used by Pikehaven Limited for waterproofing are:
- Installation of internal drainage membranes and pumps.
- Multicoat cementitous renders with active leak sealing.
- Injection of flexible, open and closed cell polyurethane resins into joints, cracks or honeycombed areas under pressure using specialist high pressure single or multi component pumps.
